Places To Visit in Jaipur
Amer Fort is the best tourist
attraction of Jaipur. Amer Fort is around 11kms from Jaipur, which is made of
red sandstone and marble stone. It was built by ‘Raja Maan Singh JI Saheb’ in
the16th century.
Hawa Mahal is a place in Jaipur,
which was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. It has stunning presentation
with 953 windows to provide ventilation. The five storey building is
inter-connected via slopes and there are no stairs, it is believed that it was
constructed to allow Royal woman of the family to have the view of the city,
market and festivals from their windows. It is constructed of red and pink
sandstone. “Hawa Mahal” is also called “:Place of Winds” and “Place of The
Breeze”.
The Rambagh Palace is in Jaipur, it
is the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur and now a hotel, which is know
outside the walls of the city of Jaipur on Bhawani Singh Road.
The Jantar Mantar is a monument in
Jaipur. The word Jantar Mantar is a Sanskrit word “Jantar” means “Yantra” an
“Instrument Machine” and “Mantar” means “Mantarana” is to “Calculate”. It is a
collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments, built by the
Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh. It features the largest stone sundial, World
Heritage site. It is located nearby Hawa Mahal.
The City Palace is also the part of
Jaipur city. It is a unique complex of several palaces, pavilions, gardens and
temples. The most prominent structures in the complex are The Diwan-e-Khas a
Hall of Private audience, the Diwan-e-Aam a Hall of Public Audience,
Chandra Mahal home to present maharaja of Jaipur, Mubarak Mahal the Auspicious
Palace, Mukut Mahal, Maharani’s Palace, Shri Govind Dev Temple dedicated to
Hindus god Lord Krishna and the City Palace Museum.

the best time to visit Jaipur is in October to March, as at this time the
